A touchscreen kiosk at the Košice Peace Marathon, where visitors walk the race year by year and look up a runner.
Marathon Point Info Kiosk: Bringing History to Life
The Marathon Point Info Kiosk transforms the Košice Peace Marathon experience by creating an interactive touchscreen journey through Europe's oldest marathon.
The Challenge
The Košice Peace Marathon, established in 1924, has a rich history that visitors wanted to explore. However, traditional static displays couldn't capture the depth and excitement of nearly a century of marathon history. We needed to create an engaging, interactive experience that would:
- Showcase the marathon's rich history
- Highlight famous runners and their achievements
- Provide real-time statistics and information
- Encourage participation through easy registration
Our Solution
We developed a custom touchscreen kiosk application that brings the marathon's history to life through interactive storytelling and data visualization.

- Year-by-year exploration of marathon history
- Key milestones and record-breaking moments
- Evolution of the race over decades
Runner Profiles:
- Galleries of winners throughout history
- Detailed statistics for individual runners
- Search functionality to find specific participants
Multimedia Content:
- Curated selection of videos and short films
- Photo galleries from past events
- Highlights of global stars who visited Košice
Engagement Tools:
- Fun facts and trivia about the marathon
- Quick registration via QR code
